County Police Day 2016
The County Police Day celebrations were held on 22nd of July in Rytwiany, in the "Golden Forest Hermitage" building. Staszów's authorities were present at the ceremonies: mayor Leszek Kopeć, deputy mayor Ewa Kondek, and Town Council president Ireneusz Kwiecjasz.
The Police Day celebrations began with a Holy Mass at the Monastery of Rytwiany. The Mass was dedicated to police officers and police civil workers. Second part of the celebrations began with the event's organizer formally reporting to province commissioner of Kielce, inspector Dariusz Augustyniak. During the celebrations, 34 police officers were promoted to higher ranks.
The officers received not only promotions, but also many kind words of appreciation from the autonomy and institution representatives. Mayor Leszek Kopeć expressed his gratitude for flawless service towards maintaining public safety and personally congratulated commissioner Tomasz Śliwiński for a job well done.
