The Municipality of Staszów has a rich and diverse wildlife, preserved in its natural environment. Our expansive forests are home to numerous characteristic species of animals

A small pond overgrown with aquatic plants is located by an old oak below a forest pathway, supported by a tiny spring bursting from a nearby hillside.

The forests of Staszów contain a large variety of species and their habitats. Most of the area's forests are deciduous or mixed. Predominant tree species are pine, beech, birch and hornbeam.

The Forest Education Path in Czernica combines relaxing recreation with education about forests. Along the path there are 19 stops discussing different topics: life in the forest, goals of forest management and the foresters' duties.

This complex was created in 2003. It is located at the forest's edge in close proximity to the forester's lodge in Golejów, Staszów. Currently it spans across 1,41 hectares.

Each year, from July to October, tourists visiting Kurozwęki can enter the Corn Maze – one of a kind in Poland.

Three tall, wooden crosses atop a hill overlooking the village of Jasień form the "Golgotha of Jasień". These crosses were put up on October 26, 1994.

The "Devil Rock" ("Diabelski kamień" in Polish) is a huge boulder located in Kurozwęki. According to local legend, an enraged demon tried to drop this boulder on the construction site of nearby church.

A very unique attraction of the Staszów region is the only Polish herd of American buffaloes, in Kurozwęki. Their breeding started in 2001, when the herd was brought over from Belgium to the palace complex in Kurozwęki by the palace's current owner, Jean Martin Popiel.
