Municipal Office wins the Cup
The victorious team in their firing positions: secretary Sławomir Mikula, mayor Leszek Kopeć and deputy mayor Ewa Kondek
The management and employees of Municipal and Communal Office of Staszów displayed their impressive marskmanship at a shooting tournament. On Saturday, October 1st, eight three-people teams competed for the Mayor's Cup. Out of those eight teams, five were comprised of members of municipal subsidiaries, and the other three teams were representing the Municipal and Communal Office itself. Contestants fired 10 shots from a distance of 50 meters, using sport rifles. Team scores were totals of each member's individual score.
This tournament's clear winners were the Office teams - all 3 teams placed at the top 3 spots.
1st place - Municipal and Communal Office of Staszów I (Ewa Kondek, Leszek Kopeć, Sławomir Mikula) – 267 points
2nd place - Municipal and Communal Office of Staszów II (Magdalena Sierant, Ireneusz Kapusta, Jakub Kaczmarek) – 260 points
3rd place - Municipal and Communal Office of Staszów III (Aneta Matelska, Marcin Kuśmierz, Kamil Malinowski) – 258 points

4th place – 247 pts. - Educational Facility Complex No. 1 in Staszów
5th place – 243 pts. - Hieronymus Łaski Public Elementary School No. 3 in Staszów
6th place – 241 pts. - Educational Facility Complex in Kurozwęki Zespół Placówek Oświatowych w Kurozwękach
7th place – 212 pts. - Sports and Recreation Center "OSiR" in Staszów
8th place – 204 pts.- Educationa Facility Complex No. 2 in Staszów
In individual competition Marzanna Tomporowska, principal of Educational Complex in Kurozwęki, placed first with 93 points out of a possible 100 points. Mayor Leszek Kopeć placed second with 92 points, Janusz Garbacki placed third with 91 points, Ireneusz Kapusta placed fourth with 90 points, secretary Sławomir Mikula placed fifth with 89 points, Aneta Matelska placed sixth with 88 points.
Mayor Leszek Kopeć thanked the tournament's participants and organizers from the "Niedźwiadek" Sports Club in Staszów, represented by Maciej Tutak and Mirosław Ramos, along with volunteers, for an efficiently conducted competition. Mayor also expressed his hope that this shooting tournament will become a consistent, annual event, held on the first Saturday of each October.
