Seniors' Day in Staszów

On Sunday, 20th of November, a special meeting took place at the Joy of Life Seniors' Club, to celebrate Seniors' Day. Mayor of Staszów Leszek Kopeć was there to meet the club's members and sympathisers. The meeting started with a wonderful performance by children from Elementary School No. 3 in Staszów, which was also a lesson in patriotism. Afterwards, various speeches were given by esteemed guests. Mayor Leszek Kopeć gave a beautiful painting depicting the St. Roch Church in Kurozwęki and also a commemorative letter to club's chairman Henryk Makucha. Mayor thanked the seniors for their commitment and the joy they share with others, and wished them many interesting future activities in their club.
