Staszów Market Square
Central point of the old town of Staszów, the Market Square is built in Renaissance style of architecture. It is roughly square-shaped.
Each corner of the Market Square has two perpendicular streets leading to other parts of Staszów.
The surrounding town houses were built in the 17th century as ordered by then owner of the town, August Aleksander Czartoryski. These town houses form a tight-knit housing development, built in a ridge pattern with distinctive cloistered gateways (not many of which remain to this day).
